Preparing your child for Kindergarten in 2021.
K Start
In order to give your child a successful start to their education, Niagara Park Public School offers a transition to school program called K Start. The K Start program gives children an early introduction and understanding of life at primary school. Through the program children will become comfortable in the school setting and will meet some friends whom they will be attending school with in 2021. The K Start class will be taught by our current Kindergarten teachers. Enrolment forms for K Start are currently available from the school office.
The program costs $10.00 each week and can be paid at the gate.
The program operates weekly on a:
- Wednesday 9.00am-11.30am and 12.15pm- 2.45pm
- Thursday 9.00am- 11.30am and 12.15- 2.45pm
The dates in Term 4 are:
Week 4- 4 or 5 November, 2020
Week 5- 11 or 12 November, 2020
Week 6- 18 or 19 November, 2020
Week 7- 25 or 26 November, 2020
Kindergarten Orientation Zoom Meeting
Wednesday 25 November, 2020 at 9.30am or 6.00pm. Parents are invited to join us for an information session which will run for 45 minutes. We will discuss the Best Start Assessment, what to do on the first day of school and we will introduce our Kindergarten 2021 staff.
